What to know in Lincoln County
Water in Lincoln County includes the Lake Roosevelt shoreline along the county’s northern edge. Where banks and access routes cross private land, the owner’s permission is the respectful way in, especially where public access sites are far apart.
The Inquire Lands parcel card lists mapped streams, ponds and lakes on a parcel from USGS hydrography data, along with road access, so you can find the right owner to ask. You still need a valid Washington fishing license and must follow WDFW rules for that water.
For owners: Washington’s recreational-use statute (RCW 4.24.210) covers fishing and limits your liability to people you let fish without charging a fee. Set simple rules (walk-in only, gates as found, where to park) and say so in your reply.
What to put in your inquiry

- Any offer (fee or help with chores)
In the app, the Fishing / camping template fills these in as [bracketed] prompts. Replace them with your details and send.
